
Alex Edgar
Alex Edgar is a Gen Z civic leader reimagining how institutions share power across generations, building the trust, structures, and strategies that enable every generation to thrive together. As co-founder of Youth250 at Made By Us, he has helped position young people as central leaders in shaping the U.S. 250th, reaching more than 2.5 million people, engaging 7,500 organizations nationwide, and leading thousands of hours of paid, youth-led strategic advising.
Alex serves as the inaugural Losey Visiting Voice at the SHRM Foundation and advises national initiatives across philanthropy, higher education, and democracy, including the Higher Education Democracy Exchange (HEDEX), a collaboration between Campus Compact and the American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U). A Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, he serves on the boards of Points of Light and CoGenerate, and was the youngest-ever advisor in U.S. Department of Commerce history through his role on the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2030 Advisory Committee.
