
Andrew Brennen
Andrew Brennen is an NAACP Legal Defense Fund Marshall-Motley Scholar from Lexington, Kentucky dedicated to advancing civil rights and education justice in the American South. At fifteen, he co-founded the Kentucky Student Voice Team, an organization that has since raised over $3 million, led campaigns securing more than $50 million in state education reinvestment, and filed one of the first student co-authored education adequacy lawsuit of its kind. At Omidyar Network, he helped move resources to grassroots organizers and youth-led movements, and he co-founded the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund, now a $4.5 million initiative supporting youth-led tech accountability. After testifying as a defendant-intervenor in SFFA v. UNC, he decided to pursue civil rights law full-time. Upon graduation, Andrew will clerk before pursuing a civil rights fellowship
