Dan-Mircea Mirea

Dan Mirea is a PhD candidate in Psychology at Princeton University studying the interaction between mental health and digital technologies, particularly among youth. His work aims to understand which psychological traits make young people more vulnerable to ubiquitous technologies such as social media and AI, as well as how to design safer technologies and more effective digital mental health interventions. Outside of research, Dan communicates psychological science to a global audience of nearly 400,000 followers through @danniesbrain and co-leads Mental Health for Romania, a nonprofit developing digital solutions for mental health support and school-based awareness programs in his home country.
