Ramiro Hernandez

|

Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, Ramiro (Ram) A. Hernández is a 'Nepantlera' strategist bridging the gap between lived experience and systems change. He is a community college alum who graduated alongside his parents, and then went on to Harvard before returning home as a Strategy & Impact Manager for Voces Unidas RGV. Ram specializes in human-centered design, digital organizing, and economic mobility for marginalized communities, bringing his borderlands perspectives to national forums such as Jobs for the Future, the Pulitzer Center, the Google News Initiative, and the Bloomberg Center for Cities. Above all, Ram believes that those closest to our most pressing challenges are the true solution experts, and he has dedicated his entire career to turning this witnessing into collective action.
