
Astrid Viveros
Astrid Viveros is the Director of Technolochic@s at Televisa Foundation, where she leads a binational STEM education initiative reaching youth across the United States and Mexico. Through a near-peer mentorship model, Technolochic@s equips middle and high school students with coding and artificial intelligence skills while fostering confidence, critical thinking, and agency in navigating technology.
Astrid has more than a decade of experience in philanthropy and systems-focused education reform. She previously served at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, supporting youth development and community-led initiatives across Latin America and the Caribbean. She later worked with the LEGO Foundation, contributing to global efforts to advance learning through play and strengthen innovative education models worldwide.
Her work bridges philanthropy, program design, and implementation, with a strong focus on evaluation, youth co-creation, and building sustainable cross-sector partnerships. Astrid is particularly interested in ensuring that young people are not just consumers of technology, but informed and confident creators who can shape how AI impacts their lives and communities.
