Kat Eves

Kat Eves is a creative operator and marketing leader working at the intersection of impact, strategy, and storytelling.

She is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Give Us The Floor, a nonprofit providing safe, peer-led mental health support for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth. In this role, Kat helps translate mission into action by scaling programs, strengthening operations, and building sustainable systems that allow youth-centered work to grow with integrity.

Her career began in sales at a fast-growing tech startup, where she quickly realized her strengths belonged in marketing and communications. Using her Journalism degree as a foundation, she spent seven years in book publishing and publicity, leading national bestseller campaigns, launching a digital community with podcasts and webinars, serving as Board President of the Book Promotion Forum, and speaking at industry conferences across the U.S.

Since then, Kat has led brand, content, and product strategy for organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to early-stage startups. One standout project, Bright Path Strong, exceeded growth and engagement goals and contributed to a historic moment: the restoration of Jim Thorpe’s Olympic medals.
