Mission
Urban Initiatives (UI) is a Chicago-based nonprofit and leader in social-emotional learning (SEL), using sport, play, and mentorship to create immersive experiences that build connection, confidence, and leadership among youth.
What We Funded
A youth-powered digital learning experience that equips Chicago students in grades 5–8 with AI tools to design, analyze, and create community-based projects while developing emotional intelligence, relational awareness, and healthy digital habits through guided reflection and play.
