Amulya Panakam is a Computer Science student at Georgia Tech with a strong interest in the intersection of cybersecurity, social impact, policy, and public safety. She is especially passionate about using technology not only to build innovative solutions, but also to protect people, communities, and critical infrastructure.

As a Program Associate at Girl Security, Amulya supports the organization’s national mentorship program by coordinating mentor and mentee matching, program operations, and participant engagement. She also helps strengthen program structure, scalability, and overall participant experience. In addition, Amulya organizes professional development opportunities, including panels, workshops, and networking events, while collaborating with corporate partners to create meaningful, industry-connected experiences.

Her work also includes supporting grant writing and reporting efforts to help sustain program growth. Beyond her role at Girl Security, Amulya has spoken about misinformation and digital resilience at international forums, bringing together her interests in technology, policy, and people-centered impact.
